BigFoodie are an online takeaway food platform.
Worked as the sole UI Designer on the new mobile app for a takeaway food online platform. This involved creating different concepts, working with the client on iterations and producing clickable prototypes of the app for User Testing. There was also some initial UX at the beginning of the project to establish key user-flows.
BigFoodie are an online takeaway food platform
BigFoodie were in the process of developing a brand new proposition and wanted a total redesign of the mobile website.
Problem / Opportunity
To establish a fresh new look and feel to the brand and to allow customers to order meals in as little amount of clicks as possible.
I was the sole designer on this project. For the last month of the project, an agile UX process was in place.
Competitive Analysis, Site Map, User Flows, Sketches, Visual Design, Prototyping, User Testing, Copywriting.
Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, Sketch, Omnigaffle and Marvel.
Phone (and initial homepage design for Desktop).
Before starting any of the UI design, I went through the site with the client and afterwards created a site map to establish what pages were needed and where they would live within the site itself.
I developed User Flow diagrams to help understand how people would complete the following tasks.
After establishing User Flows, I was asked to design 3 initial concepts for possible design routes.
The design went through many different iterations as I responded to feedback from the client and from User Testing of clickable prototypes.
The first page someone will see when they visit the site.
Home Chef Profile
Every Home Chef would have a profile page with information on them and the dishes they are currently selling as well as a record of their previous dishes.
Ordering from Restaurant
Restaurant menu and ordering process.
These were sent to the developers.
After all testing was completed, I produced a final clickable prototype of the the last round of feedback.
